School Software

PLC Armidale holds licenses for Sibelius Ultimate for students studying Music in Stage 6. Access is via a license checked out from a school server for a maximum of 365 days (1 year). Licenses are limited and should only be used by PLC students for coursework.

To Download:

• Click on this link to download Sibelius. You will need to click the link next to  The page you were on is trying to send you to:

• Click on this link to download Sibelius Sounds if required. You will have to click the new link that appears next to The page you were on....

  • NOTE: the Sounds package is quite large and will take a long time to download. 

• When downloading is complete, open the Sibelius 2024 DMG file from the download location (normally Downloads)

• In the window that appears, click on Install Sibelius and follow the prompts to install.

• Repeat for the Sibelius Sounds package if downloaded

The next steps require you to be connected to the PLC Armidale network.

• Open the Sibelius program

• Click on Specify License Server in the window that opens

• Enter sibelius as the server address. You should now be activated!
